"October 1, 2024 Husband and I got food to go. Yes they smoke inside which is why we took our food to go. Husband did not see anyone smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. The person that took the order wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either. Food was okay. I would not say this is the best burger like in other reviews. The meat seemed like quality meat. It could have been seasoned more. I really liked their homestyle fries/potatoes! Those were really good! I can't remember if their ranch was good. I waited too long to do this review. Haha. The food wasn't bad but I would not go back to get a burger. Went for lunch around 11:30am."

"My wife and I absolutely love their burgers, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and home fries. We brought a couple of our out of town friends with us this time, and they loved the food, too! Be warned that this is a "bar" bar, with open smoking and loud music. Some folks may not like that, so I felt I should mention it. If you can deal with that, it's great! I think it adds to the atmosphere."

"A true local gem! The burgers are delicious and the vibe is laid-back. There are pool tables and live music on some Friday nights! Smoking is allowed, so keep that in mind - but it fits the classic bar atmosphere."

"Great cheeseburgers & friendly staff. Nice little dive-bar atmosphere, typically frequented by the 30+ Tuscaloosa/Cottondale native crowd. This is the the place you go to shoot some pool, grab a bite to eat & have some good conversation with the locals. Tucked away from all the college kids & party atmosphere that can sometimes be a bit too much to deal with. Thursday karaoke nights have recently offered a contest boasting a $125 prize to the winner."

"Kept hearing about how good those burgers are, so we decided to try them with some onion rings. The service was excellent and it didn't take 10 min to have our food ready. I must say they make an awesome burger. It was so good I told a friend about it and they went and got one with chips sweet tea and a slice of cherry pie the very next day. It's been a long time since I've had a burger this good. I will be coming back very soon"

"Local favorite. Awesome burgers and cold beverages. Pool tables. A little loud, a little smoky. Music with just enough twang. Perfect atmosphere for a Friday night good time! Burger was huge! Fries were hot and crispy. Onion rings were great."

"A great clean burger! They do not need to do a bunch of extras to mask the taste of the meat, just enough seasoning, so you know it's there. My ONLY complaint was that the garden was upside down on the bottom, causing my bun to get soggy. The staff was most helpful and some of the friendliest folks you will meet, they make you feel like an old friend. I got the double cheeseburger, which can feed 2 people, home fries with ranch, a sweet tea and their cherry pie, for a total of $26."
